George is 18 Months!

George is 18 months now. I can't believe every day we now slide towards him turning two. Two? My baby is becoming a little boy. He turned 18 months on May 19th, but I've been trying to get pictures of him since last week and then he had his checkup yesterday and figured I'd let him have a pass from taking pictures. As always, he was on the move, although sitting much nicer than his 12 month pictures. He was more interested in his blanket and Caroline than the bear or me.
George weighed in at 29.3 lbs which is actually down 3 ounces from his 15 month checkup and really not much of an increase from his one year either. For the first time ever he is out of the 99% range and is 87%. His growth is going all towards height now. He is now 35.25 inches tall, at 99% and his head noggin is 19.85 inches at 97%. He's got some bottom molars coming in and the past few days he is really getting better at verbalizing what he wants and has accumulated a few more words. He is such a little trouble maker, always loving to climb and build blocks. He loves his books and coloring. He loves to go out and about and help with the laundry. He loves playing in dirt, with rocks, etc. He has become a little lovebug now, but watch out because he also has no problem trying to bite or hit you! He's a little stinker sometimes, but a lot of fun as well!  It's been so much fun watching him grow into his little personality. Some things are new, watching him become a little boy who tries to get dressed and undressed by himself, and other things are just inherently George, like his little demanding ways or his attempts to get out of trouble by grinning.
