Caroline's 5th birthday party was almost a month ago already!? We had such a fun time and so did the kids! :) Caroline had the time of her life riding the pony, hanging out with her friends, etc. it was all worth it so see that smile. The weather was finally nice so the kids could go out and play and they were all pretty anxious to be outside. Even passed on the pony after a while because they wanted to be out in the sun! The first part of the party was the pony rides and everything went smoothly. Then for the second half we went inside for cake and ice cream. Everything was going smoothly until it was time to open presents. It was a bit chaotic with that many kids and Caroline and her posse were moving back and forth I could never keep up with who gave what, but they had fun so ah well :) George even got in on some of the action and warmed up to the pony and had a ball!
So, another party in the books and now we get a break from celebrations until the fall! It was definitely different, but nice, to have the party outside of the house this time around. We were exhausted afterwards and Daddy felt sick all day (and I got sick the next) so it was definitely nice to come home to a clean house!
