First Half of March

The first half of march was pretty busy with school plays, school activities, and snow days. Lots of snow days! We persevered and got through it and had some fun!

Crazy hair day for Dr. Suess's bday so 

we decided to make a Truffula tree!

They needed that snow day to recover from all of their hard work

but the trees certainly did not :(

Happy Birthday Bear!

In March we celebrate Bear's birthday. He turned 4 this year, just like George! George made Bear a picture earlier in the month in anticipation of his bday. He decided that Bear would appreciate a chocolate cake that looked just like him. So, we picked a snow day from school where both kids were home and made his cake and celebrated Bear!

The "I Love You" Show!

George and his school put on the sweetest "I Love You" show. I honestly think I may sneak in there next year just to watch the cuteness even though George wont be in it :) George has been practicing hard with his teachers and classmates and it shows! There are several performances so the kids learn the steps to most of the other songs as well. Here is half of his class performing.... Dolly Parton's 9 to 5!

but that quickly went away by the time he went up

 The teachers at his school are amazing and show the 

kids to have no fear up on stage! They always do a silly dance of their own. 

This year, George's teacher Sarah led the rest of the teachers ala "Gene Simmons"

Caroline and her friends have been practicing hard and for very long hours this year to put on their play and over the weekend they had three performances. We went as a family for opening night and then I volunteered for the second night backstage and hosted the cast after party. As always, it's so much fun watching her up on stage and while it's rough leading up to the play, it's great to see her shine :)

2nd Half of February

The second half of February was filled with germs. For three weeks we just couldn't shake the sickness. Most of it occurred during school vacation. Luckily, we didn't have a lot planned and George only missed a couple of days of school beforehand.
