Happy 4th Birthday George!

Since we weren't in Florida like originally intended, we decided to head down to Boston and visit the New England Aquarium. We love it there and George hadn't been. This was something super fun that everyone could participate in. George woke up and enjoyed some birthday funfetti waffles, danced to Stevie Wonder's Happy Birthday, opened up his cards and gift from Caroline and we hit the road! We had a lot of fun at the aquarium, ate lunch there and then later on had dinner at Bertucci's. Waffles, penguins, pizza, presents and desserts. It was an awesome day!

 Goodnight 3 year old George!

 Watching Daddy dance

Caroline's present to George, Don't Break the Ice, was a hit!

 Hello seal!

 Gotta love penguins!

Had to keep pulling this one away from
the information and make her look at the
wonders in front of her :P

Baby sea horses!!!

 Myrtle the turtle

Someone offered a quick family picture.
I look super imposed, but I quickly jumped in

Myrtle eating. The person who was picked to feed her
let George throw in a piece of lettuce too

George was enthralled with this real shark skull and teeth!

No singing from the wait staff, but we sang and enjoyed
THREE desserts :)

Mid November

The week between George's party and his actual birthday was pretty busy but we started to hit our stride with getting into the swing of things.

Playing in George's new fort

I haven't done one of these in a long time ;)
Caroline had been doing research for a week before she broke her
arm so I had to handle writing to make sure her Biography
poster was as top notch as all of her effort!

One of my dear friends made this awesome shirt for Caroline

Playing with birthday Legos

Birthday dinner with Grampy and Nana at 99's before they headed to Florida

Round two of cupcakes, this time for George's classmates
and without the donuts :)

Caroline's investiture ceremony into Brownies.
They modified a few things for her since she couldn't use
her right hand, because that's what sisters do :)

Being silly in his school's teepee

I had to miss this Friday meeting, so thankfully Caroline's
teacher taped her part. Love her teachers!

He was determined to get the whole thing in his mouth
so he could move on to the cookies faster

More trees down, this time roots and all!

George's 4th BDay Party! ~ Blaze ~

Sunday, November 12th we celebrated George's birthday with his friends and cousins. We kept it small and off site because we had originally been planning on going to Disney World during his birthday. It was still nice as something at home and with more kids would have been a bit much to handle with everything going on. This was a great, simple party, that was a lot of fun. Well, for all except Caroline who couldn't swim, but she did manage to walk around in the water for a bit. George's wish of a Blaze Pool Party was granted! A party and some fun was just what the doctor ordered for this family!
