Sunday morning we threw Caroline a Rapunzel party, from one of her favorite movies, "Tangled." I was up early getting things ready to finish the cake and Caroline walked down and saw most of the decoration up. It was like Christmas morning with the surprise and amazement in her eyes! We put the finishing touches on everything and then got ready for our guests. The kids had lots of fun. We decided to do party games this year since they are the perfect age for them. We did pin the "Pascal" on Rapunzel, a pinata, and a "Get Tangled" game. We also put up a drawing wall so the kids could keep busy in between drawing. In the movie Rapunzel occupied her time painting. I will have lots more of the details on my food blog, but here are the pictures of the kids having a blast.

Our little Caroline has turned four. This birthday was all about big excitement for Caroline since she "gets" birthdays now but a little bittersweet for me. This is the last "little" birthday. The next will be her entry into being a big kid. As always, we embraced the day for all of its birthday magic and had a blast. Caroline woke up and decided she wanted Cream of Rice cereal. I decided to make it a little special and put some sprinkles in there. Then we hung out until it was time to Skype with Gramma and open presents. After Skyping with Gramma we played with her new toys and I did some more birthday party for Sunday. When Daddy got home we got ready and headed to the Steakhouse, followed by cake and ice cream at home. Oh, and more presents :)
Our sweet little girl has grown into a remarkable little lady. She is funny and kind, smart and strong. She makes us laugh and never ceases to amaze us. We love her very much and can't wait to see what her fourth year has in store for us!

Last week was an extremely busy week. Besides the regularly scheduled appointments there was lots of prep going on for Caroline's birthday! My sweet little girl was turning four. *sigh* Caroline turned four on Friday and I have plenty of pictures of her birthday and party that I'll post in the next days. For now, here was life that didn't consist of her birthday and party!

These caused me all sorts of grief, not the design, but just random errors I kept making
but she loved them so they were worth it!
George is a big mouth. He loves hearing himself!
This isn't even the half of it, he gets "quiet" when the phone is out and I tape him!

This shirt was another source of grief for me, no matter what we couldn't get it to work, but Daddy's came out best and Caroline chose it over a store-bought shirt because she is an awesome kid :)
It took a couple of extra weeks to get these pictures, but they were worth the wait :) I wanted to hurry up with this 4 month post before an even bigger "4" event comes up :) So, at George's 4 month appointment he grew a whopping 3 inches in 6 weeks, putting him at 28.25". This means he'll be growing out of his infant car seat VERY soon! He weighed in at 19lb 9oz, he's growth has "slowed" down to about a half a pound a week which is near average. His noggin actually made the biggest jump, going from 50% to 95%! So, he's 100% all around and his personality has grown 100% as well. (As a side note, he is only a little shorter than Caroline was at a year, but he weighs slightly more than her!) He loves to laugh, is very ticklish, is VERY loud and talkative. He loves to stand on our legs and makes lots of noises with his mouth. He is sleeping through the night and has finally increased his bottle amounts. He's our little wild man and goofball and we love him to pieces. He's also very independent, no cuddle bug here. He's like Caroline and has to be doing things at all times.
