Father's Day

Father's day came in the midst of the end of school year madness and it was a nice break from all of that. We woke up and had donuts from Congdon's, Alan's favorite. There is a local shop in town that you can pre-order and they'll bring them up from Wells which saves a lot of time. I ordered them the Friday before and Alan picked them up that morning and delivered a couple to his dad as well. He opened his gifts from the kids and then we headed out for a hike. We didn't get as far as we had liked in order to see the fields of lupines, but the kids walked two miles so not too shabby!

We came home and regrouped and then headed out to the K'port Fest and saw some of the beautiful chalk drawings! Afterwards, a little fun in the sprinkler before some delicious brisket with Nana and Grampy.
