Happy 4th of July!

This 4th of July was a little different from past, but we still had a great time and were pretty excited to start seeing the pool fill with water! The pool installer stopped by and did a little work and the kids had fun playing in the few inches of water along with the sprinkler set in it :)

Then we took care of a few things around here and had smoked pork with Nana and Grampy. It was an extremely hot day and we had a few headaches and belly aches, but somehow we made it out the door and headed into town for the fireworks. We met up with our friends Sarah, Nate and Roxy along with some new friends. We all walked down to Colony Beach and got a great spot to explore, run around and play with sparklers.  We watched the fireworks and then made the long walk back to the car and put four very sleepy heads to bed! Sun, water, good food, family and friends, and fireworks make for a great day!
