Blueberry Picking & Ikea

Blueberry picking opened at our favorite place on Saturday and we were there bright and early. After last year's early closure we weren't taking any chances. Since it was a weekend, Alan got to join us for the first time. We ran into some of Caroline's schoolmates, sisters Anna and Maddy, so the kids went off and chatted with them. Afterwards, we left with a very clean batch of blueberries! As always, we got more than we needed, but the picking is so much fun!

We came home and regrouped and had lunch. Then decided, hey since we had lots of fresh air but the weather isn't ideal, let's take a very long drive down to Ikea. Haha! The kids were excited since they could watch the tv in the car, but after a while they realized they should have picked staying home :P

Kids thought it was funny that the store was so big to warrant its own restaurant. we actually all loved the food! Some great comfort food in the middle of the summer. "Mom, take a picture of it! "
