The wagon trail
We got Caroline a wagon for her birthday and with the great weather we had today Alan put it together. Caroline eagerly watched and couldn't wait to jump in. She loved it so much, we had to take it to Home Depot with us later so she could ride in it more. She received a lot of smiles in the store, go figure :)

Easter Dress
We headed over to Nana and Grampy's for Easter dinner, but before we did we got some great shots of Caroline. For family, I loaded them all onto the Shutterfly site. I figured I'd spare everyone the 32 shots. There are some great action sequences though! To get Caroline to smile we have to tell her to do her grumpy face, which she does and then busts out laughing. They're great! Below are a couple of her pretty ones as a result!

Easter Morning
Somebody woke up a bit early this morning so Alan and I had to spring into action getting the animals taken care of and the camera ready so we could see Caroline's reaction to what the Easter bunny left her. She is finally at the age where she is really understanding surprises, etc. She was very happy with her Easter basket filled with books and other fun things. It entertained her all morning. It started snowing, thankfully briefly, and Caroline wanted the Easter bunny to come back. I'd like to think it was because she was concerned about him, but it probably just seemed like a good excuse to get more goodies :) Below is also a video, divided into two so it would fit.

The many faces of Caroline
The day of Caroline's birthday party we didn't get any good pictures of her in her beautiful Bishop's dress so before we headed out to dinner on her actual birthday, we took some photos. She was a little on edge throughout the day so some of the pictures show a happy child and others show a tormented little girl who just wants to hold her Tylenol bottle!

At this point, Daddy is trying to take away the Tylenol
OK Instantly back to being funny

Caroline's Birthday and a visit to the Easter Bunny
Early Wednesday morning Alan drove Gramma and Devon to Boston to fly back to South Carolina. When I went upstairs to greet Caroline I said, "Happy Birthday Sweetie!" She replied, "Cupcakes!" Sorry kiddo, no cupcakes this morning. We made pancakes instead! Later, we headed up to meet the Easter Bunny and ride the carousal that they have at the mall. Afterwards, we hit Toys-R-Us and picked up her last birthday gift, a wagon. I know we'll have a lot of fun giving her rides in it and she'll have fun giving her buddies rides! Later that evening, we took some pictures of her in her birthday dress and headed to dinner with Nana and Grampy at The Steakhouse. She was more interested in everything else, but a good time was had.
I can't believe my tiny baby is two! She is growing up so fast. Her vocabulary is out of this world and she speaks in 5-6 word sentences. Next week we'll find out all of her stats when she goes to her 2 year update. We know she is just perfect though :)
Good morning my little 2 year old :)
Hugs for the bunny

Very happy to ride the horsey!
My pretty little girl :)
Someone started to throw a tantrum when we told her she had to get out of the Mercedes. I told her it doesn't work for Mommy, it's not going to work for her :)
Some down time and then we were off to dinner!
Bear had to come to dinner with us. He's just as important in these milestones :)
Gramma and Devon's Last Night Here
The last night that Gramma and Devon were here we realized we were so busy that we hadn't really taken pictures! So, we grabbed the camera and got some great shots and some funny memories. Caroline decided to be the clown and stick her foot in DeeDee's face. Once she got a laugh she continued that over and over again!
