Christmas Day!

Christmas morning! Always so exciting. The kids get some sleep, but I barely sleep that night. They were good and waited at the top of the stairs like I asked them. I already forget when they got up, I think around 6am? Maybe 5:30, a little earlier than normal :) We opened stockings and then some of the presents while our french toast baked in the oven. After breakfast we were back at the presents. A little play time and then we cleaned up and got ready for Nana and Grampy to arrive.

 Santa brought a bicycle!

So eager for us to open his gift from school :)

Honestly, put it all to the side, these gifts and
their eagerness for us to open their gift that neither of us
knows about makes it alllll worth while. Love these kids!

Opening their gifts to each other.
They did well and they both continue to love their gifts.

Santa brought a Google home!

Wonder Crew construction crew! He went running upstairs
to get his hat so he could match :)

 Painting with light from Gramma

A total white out caused a hiccup in our plans.
Sadly, Great Gram, Aunt Barb and Uncle Rick
couldn't join us but safety first! The kids Facetimed
with them while they opened their gifts

Christmas Eve

Christmas eve was a pretty easy day. We got the house ready for Christmas and hung out. Since we were taking it easy we didn't do any baking, and instead relied on some more Hannaford pre-cut Gingerbread men to decorate. We made a few things for Nana's Christmas Eve party at her house, but otherwise our to-do list was short which was fine by us! We still continued some traditions though...

A festive appetizer for the kids

All dressed up and ready to go to Nana and Grampy's

Writing Santa a message and leaving
cookies and milk for him, cheese for Santa Mouse
and carrots for the reindeer!

So sweet, just a little nice greeting for him

First Half of December!

December has been cruising right along and here we are, with only 3 more days to go before Christmas! Here are the random happenings of the beginning of December :)

When you mention that you have to clean all of the toys before
you can bring the tree inside and next thing you know all of the toys are
gone, the rug has been rolled up and the floor swept.
Thank you Caroline :)

Santa just goofed off while his sister cleaned

Dropping off our Secret Santa gifts before the second
tree lighting

Decorating Nana's tree. Well Caroline is,
George is trying to capture Nana with her beads

After decorating Nana & Grampy's tree
we came home and watched the snow fall from
George's room. All of us laying on the floor,
we agree with the kids, it was one of the nicest moments this December!

 Meh :P

Daddy and Caroline decided it would be good to bury her?

Then George!

Watching Caroline do some coding

George did so well at his 4 year checkup that
he got a Landing Store muffin!
(no shots, 95% height, 85% weight)

 Hair cut!

 Caroline's school had a Afro-Latin Drummer come
and show them some skills

Mommy had another surgery while Daddy played on his phone :)

Alan went to Friday Morning Meeting to watch Caroline's
drumming skills and participate :)
