Week of 10/4 in Pictures

This week was filled with sniffles, errands like George's second dentist appointment, and mostly George's love of his hoodie sweatshirt that I got him. You'll see. He wouldn't take it off all day :) Our week ended with cousin Cole's birthday party. It was so much fun to see all of the kids playing together. Caroline finally got to play with her cousins for the first time since last year at the party. :( George and the boys were a lot of fun since they were just babies last year and now they are everywhere and playing together.

Caroline and Daddy constructed glasses out of cardboard and 

plastic wrap including a case for them. They were a huge hit and she wore them

a lot. She even brought them to school and was allowed to go "fool" 

the school nurse :)

Week of 9/27 in Pictures

Our weekend of health came to an end when we all got sick or sicker during the week. We had a big storm move in with heavy rains and winds, Alan took the day off during the middle of the week so we ventured out to see the ocean etc., and then for the weekend we had a doggy visitor that we dog sat for. It was out friend's Connor and Adam's dog. That would have been more fun except I got very sick over the weekend and Alan had to take it all on. We made it through and managed to still have some fun.

After apple picking and nap Nana and Grampy 

came over and dropped these surprises off that they

had picked up. 

Then we treated ourselves to some Dairy Queen after a good dinner

George's isn't a fan of Monday mornings, 

but he wore a hat most of the week like

his sister used to do :)

it just wasn't in her favor :(

Apple Picking with Our Cousins

Sunday morning we headed up to Gile's Family Farm and met up with our cousins from the Lovejoy side for our second annual apple picking get together. The weather was gorgeous. Nice and sunny and as the morning went on it got warm, but it wasn't nearly as hot as it was last year. Perfect apple picking weather! It was fun to see how much the boys have grown. They are all within six months of each other with Jackson being the oldest and George being the youngest. Caroline was such a helper this year. She didn't no help and got right to work on picking apples. She also helped herd the boys to where they needed to go. It's fun to see how much she has changed over our many years of apple picking :)

Week of 9/20 in Pictures

Oh this was a full week! We had so many things planned, some fun some errands and then... we all got sick. Really sick. Although it was scattered so no one was extremely ill at the same time. It started  Wednesday morning with George seeming a bit under the weather. Then, after I got him down for an early nap to sleep the iickys away, the school nurse called and said Caroline was running a low temp. Sigh. Here we go... Caroline missed her first couple of days of school, but we still managed to fit some fun in. I did feel bad since it was her first day of art class and she left just before it started. She was really upset about that. This also started her love affair of the nurse's office and now likes to visit on a regular basis :) We finished the weekend by having family pictures taken on Saturday (which amazes me how good they came out considering how miserable everyone was the day before. Then we headed to our friend Bella's 4th birthday party.

On Monday Caroline's class had their first field trip to 

Goose Rocks beach. Alan worked from home so he could volunteer

and he is gaining more and more words by the day!

on Tuesday was foreshadowing to Wednesday's illness
