George's Steakhouse Birthday Dinner

Nana and Grampy were headed to Florida the morning of George's birthday so we headed to The Steakhouse to celebrate George's birthday the night before. George was introduced to the rolls and steak and had a ball. When it was time for his birthday ice cream he seemed unfazed by the candle, but his sister was pretty impressed by the large size and thoroughly enjoyed the side of hot fudge too!

George's 1st Birthday Party

George's first birthday party was held on Sunday, November 16th. We invited a few close family members and friends to come and celebrate. We went for bright, primary colors and lots of fun polka dots. George woke up just as everyone was arriving and was a little overwhelmed. Luckily, one of his gifts was his new chair so he stuck to that for the beginning part of the party. He was feeling a bit under the weather, but he was a trooper and had lots of fun playing with his cousin Cole and friend Adam. I can't believe his first birthday party has come and gone. Our little guy has grown so much and is such a happy little guy. This party was definitely fitting for him! For anyone interested in the details, you can check them out on my blog here.

 A little pre-party fun!

Week of 11/9 in Pictures

I'm way behind on posts and I'm going to do my best to catch up. The month of November was crazy with George's birthday and Thanksgiving etc. Our Falls just got a lot busier, I know! Anyways, this particular week was actually pretty calm. Caroline had her school photos at school, I got really sick for a couple of days, Alan and I went to see Alton Brown, and Gramma and I took the kids out to lunch. All while doing some party prep.

Week of 11/2 in Pictures

We started this week off with Caroline being a little sick on Monday. We were all pretty tired though since Daddy worked over the weekend as well. He made up for it by taking Wednesday off though and while Caroline was at school we took down the old fish tank and set up a new one in her room. She was pretty excited! The rest of the week was spent doing things around here and getting ready for a certain little boy's first birthday party.

She's been wanting braids of all kinds but she
never sits still long enough until now!

it's been moved into our dining area

Halloween 2014

After nap I got the kids ready in their costumes and when Alan came home we hit the trick or treating scene. We hit a few homes of family and friends, but mostly hit Dock Square and Summer St. We ran into a few friends and family while out and had lots of fun! Before we headed to our last stop of Summer St. we dropped George off to hang out with Nana and Grampy. He's just a little too young still!
