Week of 7/26 in Pictures

Blueberry Picking

We finally got to go blueberry picking and the day was very hot, even with going right when they opened at 9am. They let us go to the far end since I had the stroller and it was easier which was nice since we had the place to ourselves. Some of the berries weren't ripe yet, but not many. Although George didn't discriminate :)  Caroline went right to work while George went right to eating. We had 2 quarts picked in no time and hurried back to the car and the a/c! Hopefully, we'll get back before picking season is over since the berries didn't even make it to bake anything with!

The Breakwater

One of Caroline's favorite things to do is walk along the jetty at the breakwater. Alan took Monday off from work but the weather was so so. We opted to hang around the house and relax, but decided to go for a stroll when there was a break in the weather. We all went the first time, with me hanging back because I just can't do it that much without help anymore and Alan is busy helping the kids. The second time George stayed with me and we walked around while Alan and Caroline went back out!

We took Caroline to see the Minion movie on Sunday and she had a ball. This was her first time as we waited until she would really sit still the entire time and appreciate the experience. Her only concept of the movies was watching Annie go to the movies with the Rockettes dancing and singing. She learned that it's a different experience, but still lots of fun. So while George hung out with Nana and Grampy, we went to the movies !It was so much fun watching her excitement and watching commercials etc. Poor kid doesn't see them since we don't have cable :)

Week of 7/19 in Pictures

What a busy week this was! We had lots of gardening, butterfly releases, two plays for Caroline, some general fun stuff and errands, and lice. Yeah, that was not fun but me being an obsessive cleaner paid off and after noticing a few on Caroline I ransacked the entire house and they were gone the next day! So hopefully that was our first and last experience. :/

 Daddy worked from home on Friday, but we

went out to the new bakery in town and grabbed some goodies with him
