Today we headed out and bought our Christmas tree. When we got there we saw one that was nice, didn't think we'd find any better, and bought it. I don't think it can get any easier!
Afterwards, we went to the Animal Welfare Society and dropped off a big box of toys, treats, cat food, blankets, and lots and lots of peanut butter that we can't have anymore! Every year we make a donation of some sorts to the
AWS and now Caroline gets to take part and learn that giving is much more important than receiving.

Tonight, we attended the Lower Village Christmas tree lighting with Nana. We opted out of the larger, Dock Square lighting that kicked off Prelude. Between the cold, the crowds, and my foot it was a good call. Caroline was very interested in everything except the singing and tree :) She had a good time though.
She loved being in it earlier in the day, but when it came to taking pictures...

Hanging out with a new friend. Isn't my pink bear so cute :)

She loved the fire. She kept saying, "Hot" and trying to blow it out :)
We came home and set the tree up. My little cutie wanted to put the fallen needles back on the tree! I thought she'd make a bee line to the trash with them, but she wanted to put them back where they came from! Tomorrow, decorations go up!
