You can never have too many purses or friends!

We always get a kick out of how Caroline loves to carry all of her purses. She usually has a hat on when she's walking around the house too. Now, she's big on purses and transporting all of her friends on her tricycle. This morning, I caught her doing both!

Here she is with her baby in the front and Rudolp and Max from The Grinch

Here she is a few minutes later with three purses too. I was expected to push them all around :)

Snack break!

Look at that hair :)

Visiting Santa

This years visit with Santa didn't go so well. She was happily saying, "Ho ho ho" and waving to the security guards at the mall. She loved watching the other "babies" and the trains. When it came time to let go of Nana and sit on Santa's lap she wasn't having. I quickly pulled the plug, pictures aren't worth it! She did enjoy the coloring book Santa gave her though :) We tried walking around and waving to Santa. He would wave, play peek-a-boo, and sing to her, but she would just say, "No Santa." So, we have the crying baby shot finally :) We may try again, we may not, it's her prerogative. The good thing is we're back to singing, saying Santa in an excited voice, and saying, "Ho ho ho."

Rigging up the lights...

Sunday morning we decorated our Christmas tree. Caroline didn't make it past the lights before she needed a nap. She came back downstairs to a finished tree. She loves looking at the ornaments and pointing to different ones. So, now we also have to say, "Good bye and Goodnight" to the tree when we go upstairs :)

It's not nice to point and laugh :)

The antler broke so now Lucy looks like Max, from The Grinch Who Stole Christmas!

Toys Before Christmas?

Nana and Gramma both got Caroline toys yesterday and it's funny how both involve transporting things. Caroline is BIG into taking baby for rides on her tricycle and she's also big into trying to carry EVERYTHING with her on the tricycle. After watching the video last week, Gramma knew Caroline needed a basket for her tricycle! Nana decided baby needed her own ride!

Tucker better watch it. He may end up in that basket :)

Kicking off the Christmas season

Today we headed out and bought our Christmas tree. When we got there we saw one that was nice, didn't think we'd find any better, and bought it. I don't think it can get any easier!

Afterwards, we went to the Animal Welfare Society and dropped off a big box of toys, treats, cat food, blankets, and lots and lots of peanut butter that we can't have anymore! Every year we make a donation of some sorts to the AWS and now Caroline gets to take part and learn that giving is much more important than receiving.

Tonight, we attended the Lower Village Christmas tree lighting with Nana. We opted out of the larger, Dock Square lighting that kicked off Prelude. Between the cold, the crowds, and my foot it was a good call. Caroline was very interested in everything except the singing and tree :) She had a good time though.

She loved being in it earlier in the day, but when it came to taking pictures...

Hanging out with a new friend. Isn't my pink bear so cute :)

Nana and Caroline up front by the tree

She loved the fire. She kept saying, "Hot" and trying to blow it out :)

We came home and set the tree up. My little cutie wanted to put the fallen needles back on the tree! I thought she'd make a bee line to the trash with them, but she wanted to put them back where they came from! Tomorrow, decorations go up!

Putting Christmas Books Away

Today I bought out Caroline's Christmas books and stuffed animals. She brought them into her room and put them in the center of the room. While I was folding diapers, I mentioned we needed to find a place to put them away. She went over and cleared a shelf and started putting everything away! She did a pretty good job!

I took the video with my phone, so the video was a bit large so I had to upload it to Youtube.

Wrapping up November

I just wanted to share a few pictures and videos from last month. Can you believe it, it's December already! I'm sure there will be lots of updates this month!

Here is a video that was taken on November 13th. Originally, Caroline was walking in the pillow case, potato sack style, but Alan made her a toga instead.

Here are a few videos from the other day. I had to break it up because it was too large, but I wanted to show you an average afternoon with Caroline. Her big struggles are figuring out how to carry her purses, etc. and be able to ride her tricycle :) Love that little girl!
