Our Roadtrip to South Carolina

We drove down to South Carolina the end of September and had a blast. It was just what the doctor ordered, well maybe two more days, and we made sure to  relax and enjoy every second of it. We took Caroline out of school, because we felt it was important for the kids to know my side of the family and because the ocean temperature is amazing this time of year! On the drive down, we were well prepared for entertainment. Lots of games, puzzles, coloring books, activity books, and a road map and state info for Caroline. Plus, the occasional movie on the tablet :) The kids were awesome and didn't complain and we heard barely any "are we there yet's?" until the second day about one hour left of the drive. Which, frankly, we were all feeling.

Since we took almost 500 pictures, I'll be posting our week down there in a few different posts :)

 Another trip to South of the Border

(What's really crazy is now, after Hurricane Matthew, 

this area is entirely flooded!)

Arrive at the resort and the first thing they notice in their room

is that they have a television! They LOVED this!

There were also geese and turtles :)

After some pizza back at the condo we walked 
to the pools to check things out

and they decided to go in with their clothes. 

Ehh, we're on vacation!
