We had a barbecue lunch at Sweet Carolina's (so close!) and then took the scenic way back to the resort. Wow had Mrytle Beach Blvd changed! A lot more evening pool time with some friends that they each made and then crashed.
The next day we headed to Pawley's Island to meet up with Devon, Gary, and Nimmer for some beach fun. Sadly, it only lasted maybe 30 minutes because of a storm coming in fast. We knew this was our last chance to see them so it was bittersweet. One great thing, which usually happens in the morning here, that I'm glad the kids got to see were three porpoises swimming and jumping through the water. Mornings at Pawleys are the best!
By the time we got back to the condo it had stopped raining. We enjoyed some biscuits and then headed out to the pool. Then it was time for Mommy's most favorite! Miyabi's! I missed this last time we went down because of my ER trip instead so I was really really looking forward to this. It's a great hibachi place that I haven't been able to match anywhere else. Caroline LOVED it. Which is an understatement. The kid ate everything she was given and asked for try others foods. Like, people sitting next to us :) George, he ate the cherries off his drink and then the sorbet that was given as a dessert :P
Then it was on to the resort arcade for some game fun since we were all way to stuffed to even think about swimming!
