Day 2: Family & Putt Putt

Tuesday we headed south to see Devon and finally meet Nimmer. He had turned one the week before and we couldn't wait to see him and bring him presents! We didn't get to visit too long unfortunately because of us being late and nap times, but we had another chance to visit planned as well! Frankly, every day wouldn't have been enough :)

Afterwards, we hit up El Cerro Grande, one of my favorite Mexican places growing up for lunch. It was a different location, but same old menu :) We made a stop at the Pirate's Shop for a treasure box for George and some other fun things and then to Kudzu bakery for some extra tasty cookies. Then we headed back to the resort for some R&R.

Once we were rested we headed out to play putt putt. Now Caroline had putt putt on the brain all summer but I told her that we would do it in SC. There were tons of places. She was still concerned. Until they noticed that there was one every few hundred feet! Every time we went off the resort it was "Hi Octopus! Hi Shark! Hi Dragons!" We had a fun game. Caroline is getting better and George, well he mostly just bounced around. George, Alan and I got hole in ones (The last one you just had to hit it down a tube so George got lucky) and that made Caroline a bit sad. Naturally, I won. Because well, I'm the putt putt queen :P

A little dinner back at the room and we headed to pool for an evening swim!

 I really did a bad job with pictures, 

but we were too busy visiting

 They gave George an adult size cup with milk. 

He was enamored by the size and wanted me to take

a picture

 So then Caroline wanted me to take a 

picture of her large lemonade :)
