Week in Pictures 8/10

As I mentioned earlier, Alan took last week off and we stayed home and relaxed and fit in plenty of summer fun before it ends. It's getting really cool already and with all of the rain, it was the only way to get everything done that Caroline wanted to do. We got a lot done and there will be more posts for some of the highlights. Of course, our to-do list didn't get cleared, but we had fun and made the best of it!

 We've only been in the pull a handful of times this year, 

but George finally got to get into the action himself!

 My big boy can handle the grocery carts now, 

this makes things easier but a little sadder :(

 Caroline flew her first kite!

 George is getting super big!

 and with him pulling up we decided to take the play table out

and Caroline got into the winter things :P

 We had a good bit of rain and wind in the middle of the week and it squashed our garden 

and took down a tree

 But we were still able to bring in a good harvest!

Nana and Grampy came over for an impromtu S'mores cookout

 George learned to drive (kidding)

 There were plenty of giggles to go around!

 Mommy got some more press time

Caroline, with Daddy's help this time, got better with fairy houses
