Alan has taken the past week off so I've done zero blogging but there are going to be lots of posts coming since we did as much summer activities as we could while he was off! First off was my birthday! I woke up to a very excited Caroline with cards in hand. She then went back upstairs and delivered the paper flowers that she and Gramma has been making the past month. She was a very good surprise keeper to have those under my nose ;) She then decided that I should have breakfast in bed so Daddy had to whip that up on the fly. We headed to St.Ann's to bid a fond farewell to M.L. Agnew who was retiring. It was a great turnout for a wonderful man. He'll be missed! George did great during the service, loving the music. Caroline was antsy but was very happy that she got to partake in the offering collection for the first time! After church we headed to the candy shop and home for some hammock time. After nap we headed to the marina for lobsters, steaks for the guys, steamers, corn and a fabulous Frozen Pudding Oreo cake that Caroline and Alan made for me. It was a wonderful birthday and I couldn't have asked for more! Warning, it was my birthday but there were still no pictures taken of the actual birthday girl. Bad Daddy!!!!!

She DID actually try a steamer, put it in her mouth and
then chewed and chewed and finally spit it out. Tried to tell her that she could
just swallow it and the worst part of just putting it in her mouth was over :)
