Shaker Festival & Apple Picking

On Sunday we loaded up the car and headed for Alfred for the Shaker Festival and some apple picking. It was a gorgeous day and we had a lot of fun, buying some fun hair accessories for Caroline, eating some tasty food, waiting in line forever for a balloon hat :) Everyone had a great time and were definitely tired afterwards! With full bellies, we headed up the hill for some apple picking. The trees were already pretty bare at the bottom, but we managed to grab two bags pretty quickly. We've got another trip or two in store for us this season so I think we'll be picking up a basket to nab those higher up apple next time!
