York's Wild Kingdom

Last Sunday we headed for York to visit some friends and to hit the zoo. We wanted to go on the rides first since that is Caroline's favorite part now but they didn't open until 10am. The zoo was still a lot of fun. The ducks are always a big draw, even though there are lions, monkeys, etc. The deer are also another big draw since they have a petting zoo scenario there. After a quick lunch we headed to the rides where Caroline and her friend Connor went on a bunch (but never enough for Caroline), little Adam went on a couple, and George got to go on the carousel. We finished the day there with a ride on the ferris wheel. Caroline has been wanting to go on a ferris wheel since she was really little at the Fyeburg fair. Always waiting until she could go on the big one. This was the year and they had a lot of fun! On the way home we hit Big Daddy's for some dessert for dinner. :)

 George fed the deer, but then got spooked :)
