Park Fun & Goodbye Florida!

On our last day in Florida we wanted to cram all of the fun in, while still keeping that relaxed and warm feeling. While we waited for the pool to warm up we took the kids down the street to the park. Nana had taken Caroline there a couple of times over the week, and now we wanted to bring them both as well. This was George's first real park experience and it was fun watching him explore it all. He's ready to do so much, but is limited back home because of all of the snow! Caroline showed us just how big she is by only needing a boost on the swing and then she's all set, kicking and pumping her legs. After the park we went swimming and packed our bags. Had an early dinner and then it was off to the airport. The kids (and us) were exhausted and it was getting near bed time so there was a bit more crankiness on the flight back but they were troopers. Poor George had just finally fallen asleep 5 minutes prior to landing in Baltimore. We had to run to our connecting flight and he was asleep until we started boarding! He went back to sleep midway through the flight to Maine and Caroline took a 10 minute snooze. She woke up scared that she was going to get sick, but thankfully she didn't. I think it was just overtired. We arrived in Maine and had some airport issues with a delayed stroller and me leaving my phone on the plane. Then we headed out into the cold and it was snowing. Sigh. We were back. It was good to be home though, tucking the kids into their beds and falling into our own.
