Friday night was the start off for Prelude with the tree lighting in Dock Square. It was a clear night, but it was really cold so Gramma stayed home with George and we took Caroline to see the action. She had a blast and was so cute dancing to all of the carols beforehand. She was totally feeling the music and everyone else had a ball watching her too. After the lighting, we headed back and caught some of a live nativity, where Caroline wanted to go up and meet the angel :) We headed back home to get warm by the fire with some hot cocoa and go to bed so we could get up early for the pancake breakfast at Washington House the next morning.
George is dressed in his festive wear, but with no where to go :/
That blinking little girl is back after taking a year off and ready for
some tree lighting!
We wait for a while and listened to lots of carols,
and then 28,000 lights (and a bunch of camera flashes)
lit up the sky
