Let the Halloween festivities begin!

I wanted to get this post up earlier in the week, but things happen :) Saturday we headed to a friend's Halloween party minus Daddy. He decided to take a trip to the ER because he shot a nail through his thumb. Luckily, he is OK and back to good basically. He does have pictures, but we wont post them here :) We had a great time at the party and Caroline tied for 1st place in the costume contest. I was pretty proud since I made her costume with some help from Gramma!
Sunday we got ready for hurricane Sandy and Monday we hunkered down. Caroline slept in our bed for the first time and probably the last time! We wanted her with us since we had lost power and her room is upstairs near the big trees. Besides losing power overnight and some branches and a couple of decent sized trees coming down in the woods, we didn't get much from Sandy. Thank goodness!
Tuesday was the first day of her new, older kids gymnastics class. Daddy came with us and we had a lot of fun. She warmed up towards the end and will hopefully get used to listening to directions from strangers a bit better!
